Howard is a partner at Management
Associates, an international management consulting firm,
which he founded over a quarter-century ago. Prior to that he served
as the Director of Artist Development for Capitol Records/EMI, developing
such artists as the Beatles, Pink Floyd, and Linda Rondstadt.
Management Associates provides a broad range of
consulting services including the development of winning strategies,
new ways of managing change, and the mobilization of high-performance
teams. Management Associates has a base of operations in northern
California, as well as affiliates in Japan and Europe.
He is recognized internationally as an innovator
and expert in organizing initiatives in business that boost the
performance, profitability, and satisfaction of his clients.

Additionally he has served as a venture partner
with iMinds Ventures in San Francisco, a leading early-stage investment
firm. He was also a director of SoftBook Press, the pioneering e-book
company, as well as a director and strategic advisor to numerous
start-up companies.
Howard was the chairman of the faculty of the
Center for Management Design, a corporate university for senior
executives. He lectures on consultative strategies at John F. Kennedy
University.
He received the "Breakthrough Award," and "Leadership
Award" from Transformational Technologies, his peers in the global
consulting industry, in recognition for outstanding accomplishment.
Howard holds a B.S. Degree in Communications
from Temple University. He also served in the U.S. Coast Guard as
a medical corpsman.
He is married to Lisa Miller Goldman, resides
in northern California, and has two adult children.

Lisa Goldman is a Partner at Management
Associates, a consulting firm that is known internationally for
strategic formulation, change and integration management, executive
coaching and the mobilization of high-performance teams. Lisa's
clients extend from Fortune 100 companies to high-tech start-up,
such as AT&T Wireless, Apple Computer, Sprint PCS, Computer Sciences
Corporation, AOL Time Warner, and E*Trade.
Lisa is a compelling leader and much-demanded
performance coach serving clients in the telecommunications, e-commerce,
customer service, securities trading, and computer industries. The
results she produces are distinct in their ability to have people
act towards a common set of objectives, produce a coordinated framework
for success, and achieve unprecedented results that impact the bottom
line.
Lisa is on the Board of Women In Consulting,
a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing top-tier consultants

achieving CEO-level positions. Lisa also leads courses at UCSC's

Prior to consulting, Lisa worked for Apple Computer, NeXT Computer,
and Itel Corporation.
Lisa has a B.A. in Asian Studies from William
Smith College and an M.B.A. from the University of Oregon. She is
married to Howard Goldman, consultant and author of Choose What
Works: The Proven Secrets of Professional Greatness.
